Following the passage of HB 5081 and HB 16, the Court Security Division is expanding its public data privacy protections and online cyber security footprint. It will continue to provide assessments to courthouses and direct technical assistance to judges related to court security.
In the spring of 2026, the division will roll out an online tool for use by judges and staff across the state to further secure their online data and remove identified covered information from data brokers and prevent the further sale of that data.
This webpage will serve as a resource for key online security and privacy protections. To learn more about what protections are available for judges and their staff, and how to begin restricting public access to personally identifying information, judicial members may log into the Members Area.
